Confused Minds and Messages - Libya

chttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIqLsGT2wbQ

I seem to be suffering from a bit of Chemotherapy brain or drug induced fogginess this week.  I only wish that we could all see things a little more clearly.   Forgive me for attaching this wonderful tune, oh!  that those words would ring out to the world.  I am not alone in seeming somewhat confused or even unstable this week. Libyan revolutionary leader Gaddafi appeared on the world stage dressed and styled as only a great Shakespearean actor could, performing in the greatest story of our time.  The world press and politic seemed extremely eager to accuse him of being delusional, unfit to lead.  Gaddafi always had a very different style he was never one to sit at the top and hand out orders, his self view has always been as the empowerer one of the people and he believes that he was loved for his loyalty.  His political history seems to have developed through his rather strange world view, I think he wanted to support the downtrodden and the oppressed, but never fully understood why these groups (some were terrorists), felt oppressed by others or what their goals were.

The fact that hundreds of thousands of migrant workers have fled Libya, should be ringing alarm bells around the Mediterranean Sea.  Where do all those people go, how will they now survive financially? The Oil Companies still retain their production and refining bases, but how long will these remain usable and secure without labour?

The only military action threatened by the UK and US is to introduce a no fly zone, which is more about propaganda than effective protection for any protesters.

There is no European policy in place for this dire emergency on our own doorstep.  Someone needs to see more CLEARLY NOW .
